Steve Dodson built our home this past year. It was a very enjoyable and informative journey from start to finish. We talked to three other builders and Steve “felt just right” after we talked to him about our house. He was the only one that said to go and pick out your appliances, lighting fixtures, carpet, flooring, doors, plumbing, brick, stone, whatever we wanted in our house and then he would come back with a cost per square foot on what it would cost to build our house. All the other contractors we talked to just looked at blueprints and gave a estimate a few days later. Steve took about 1 week to get back with us after we gave him the plans and all the items we picked out for our house.  He was not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive either, he was in our price range, in the middle. Steve did not know what the other contractors quoted us.  He gave us ideas on how to improve our plans. Steve was finishing building two other houses and he suggested we look at both of them to see his blood, sweat, and tears that he pours into a home while building one. Steve is honest, up front, trustworthy, and takes pride in his work. He made building our first home an enjoyable experience.  If we were ever given the opportunity to build another home, Steve Dodson will build it.  I have and will recommend Steve Dodson to anyone who is planning to build a home, today or in the years to come.
